The article considers the problem of organizational and methodological support for the activities of curators of student groups at a technical university as a key factor in increasing the effectiveness of educational work. The relevance of the study is due to the increasing role of curatorship in the higher education system and the insufficient development of scientific and methodological support for this activity in technical universities. The purpose of the study is a theoretical substantiation and practical analysis of a system of organizational and methodological support for the activities of curators that helps to increase the effectiveness of educational work. The methodological basis consists of systemic, personality-oriented, and activity-based approaches. The study used theoretical (analysis of scientific literature) and empirical methods (questionnaires, interviews, pedagogical experiment). The sample included 120 first- and second-year students and 25 curators. The study identified key problems of curators at a technical university: insufficient qualifications of curators, lack of psychological and pedagogical education among most of them, difficulties in implementing systematic professional development, and insufficient dissemination of curatorial experience. A structural and functional model of organizational and methodological support for the activities of curators has been developed, including target, content-organizational, activity-based, and resultative components. The most sought-after forms of educational work have been experimentally confirmed: project activities (86% of respondents), volunteer projects (79% of respondents), personal growth trainings (74% of respondents), and digital formats (68% of respondents). The scientific novelty lies in the systematization of means, forms, and types of organizational and methodological support for curatorial activities at a technical university. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the developed system in educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education.
