Abstract

The article discusses the history of the emergence and development of axonometry. Axonometry has gradually developed since ancient times, in particular from the ancient Greeks, Egypt and Mesopotamia, and basic imaging techniques have been developed. The ancient Greek scientists Euclid, Archimedes and Apollonius laid the foundations of geometry, and this contributed to the development of ideas about space and perspectives important for later axonometry. In the Middle Ages, when stagnation was taking place in Old Europe, an Arab Caliphate was created in Asia, the works of ancient Greek scientists were translated and developed by Arab scientists. They were Turkic-speaking scholars of Middle Asian origin from among the Arab scholars. This is due to the fact that scientists such as Al-Khorezmi and Al-Biruni, famous in the Islamic world, have made a great contribution to the development of axonometry and have contributed to the development of mathematical and geometric knowledge, influencing the perception and representation of spatial objects. In addition, al-Haysam is a scientist known for his research in the field of optics. His work has been a great success in the science devoted to the study of the process of vision and the properties of light. During the renaissance in Europe, scientists and architects such as the famous Leonardo da Vinci and Albrecht Durer developed visual images, including promising methods. It also influenced the development of axonometric visual imaging. For William Farish, a special type of axonometry was an important step in technical imaging, creating the rules of isometry. The article also examines the contributions of modern scientists such as Alexander Roeder and Karl Polke, who developed the theory of axonometry. This theory of axonometry was developed by scientists of the Soviet Union N.A. Glagolev, N.F. Chetverukhin and O.A. Volberg supplemented it with new theorems and methods, including affine transformations and multi-projections.
