IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING EMAIL DELIVERY

Dear Authors and Reviewers,

The Editorial Board of the scientific and pedagogical journal “Problems of Engineering Graphics and Professional Education” would like to inform you of potential issues with the delivery of official emails sent through the journal’s website.

Due to technical restrictions and the filtering policies of email service providers, particularly Mail.ru, Yandex.ru, BK.ru, and other services within the Mail Group ecosystem, users may experience the following issues with automated notifications:

  • emails may fail to reach recipients;
  • messages may be redirected to the “Spam” or “Deleted Items” folders;
  • notifications regarding manuscript submissions, peer review, and editorial correspondence may be delayed or not received.

One possible cause is the filtering systems used by email providers, which may block automated notifications sent from Open Journal Systems (OJS), the platform used by our journal.

To minimize these issues, the Editorial Board strongly recommends the following:

  1. Use institutional or corporate email addresses when registering on the journal’s website (e.g., @enu.kz, @edu.kz, or other institutional domains).
  2. Alternatively, use Gmail addresses (@gmail.com).
  3. Where possible, avoid registering with email addresses ending in @mail.ru, @yandex.ru, @bk.ru, @inbox.ru, or @list.ru.
  4. Check your “Spam” and “Deleted Items” folders regularly if an expected notification has not arrived.
  5. If you are already registered on the journal’s website with an email address that does not receive notifications, we recommend updating your email address in your user profile.

Please take this information into account when submitting manuscripts, participating in the peer-review process, and communicating with the journal’s Editorial Board.
