Abstract

The article discusses the history of foundation and development of the young
capital Astana by the smooth transformation of the province to the capital - city, where
were used the most advanced technologies and innovative methods of urban design of
the XXI st century. Based on the analysis were concluded that we have embodied in the
architecture of the combination of Western rationality and elegance of the East, the
grandiosity of Europe and originality of Asia.
