This article examines the implementation of computerized testing of students' knowledge in the course "Engineering and Computer Graphics" into the educational process. It is noted that the development of test assignments for this course is particularly relevant given the reduction in classroom hours allocated in the curricula of many technical specialties. The article demonstrates the role of computerized testing in enhancing students' independence in the context of the compressed study of fundamental disciplines, particularly "Descriptive Geometry." Several advantages of knowledge assessment tests for reviewing and consolidating knowledge on the subject being studied, as well as for self-assessment, are identified.
It is shown that computerized testing assesses the level of assimilation of educational material, expressed through concepts such as knowledge, abilities, and skills. The conclusion notes that the testing system, or more specifically, computerized testing, is an effective means of improving teaching methods and methods for monitoring the quality of student training.
