Abstract

The problem of informatization of universities arose quite a long time ago, but, nevertheless, the implementation of this
directions takes place in institutions of higher education in different ways. It depends on many factors, and on the type
university, and on its location, on the budget of the university and, in particular, on the development concept developed locally. IN
the moment of making a decision on the need to create a corporate information system, inevitably
face the problem of heterogeneity of the environment - this is a different equipment with computer equipment, and
a large variety of previously developed software tools designed to solve a specific problem,
for example, paperwork, accounting calculations, information exchange, personnel records.
There are two main approaches to solving the problem of creating a corporate information system of a university:
"monolithic" automated information systems developed by professional IT companies and
creation of systems on their own using integrating modules. Accordingly, various
solutions entail various time and material costs.
