Abstract
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the processes of formation, development trends, and application features of virtual wardrobe platforms at the global level. The theoretical foundations of the concept of a “virtual wardrobe” are defined, and its place within the process of digital transformation is described. The impact of virtual wardrobe technologies on modern consumer culture, the fashion industry, and the system of electronic commerce is evaluated.
The technical infrastructure of the platforms and their management methods are examined, as well as the users’ capabilities to store, process, and analyze clothing elements in a digital format. Based on the collected data, global trends in the development of virtual wardrobe platforms and their influence on digital culture are identified.
