The evolution of the facade of buildings based on the city of Astana

Abstract

The article examines the architectural evolution of building facades in Astana. The study includes a historical analysis of architectural styles and materials used in different periods, as well as an assessment of the impact of these changes on the perception of urban space by residents. Particular attention is paid to the importance of facades for the aesthetic appeal and functionality of buildings. The building facade is not only an important architectural element, but also a visual shell through which one can see the functional purpose and connection of the building with the surrounding space. Building facades act as the “face” of the city, representing its style, history and culture. The visual perception of the city and its uniqueness largely depend on the facades, which can reflect the spirit and character of the place. Modern facades symbolize progress and the introduction of new technologies, which contributes to the creation of a balanced urban environment, especially in the capitals, where facades play a key role in shaping the image of the nation. The selection of buildings for comparative analysis was carried out taking into account their architectural uniqueness and representativeness of different areas of the city. As a result of the survey of residents, preferences for modern and traditional facades were revealed. Thus, the facades of buildings in Astana have undergone significant changes, focusing on harmony with the surrounding space and the requirements of modern ecology, which contributes to improving the quality of urban life and the development of urban infrastructure.
