Methods of seismic isolation of building foundations

Abstract

In this article was considered and analyzed the existing methods of seismic
isolation of building structures and critical analysis. Also, provided the ability of
movement of building, the amount of displacement in the period of earthquake to
sustain spatial rigidity of seismic isolated construction. Proposed to include the
mechanism of seismic isolation into construction of basement this reduce the collapse of
structural construction that will ensure the safety of human lives and valuable
equipment and avoid costly measures to restore the design, reduces the consumption
valves, which makes the building construction more economical.
