Abstract

Since the 80s of the last century, insulated wires are used on overhead lines. Self-supporting
insulated wires have the advantage over the bare wires, and allow us to solve a number of pressing
problems. Today, self-supporting insulated wires have a great interest in Kazakhstan's power grid
companies.
