Abstract

The losses of prestressing of reinforcement on concrete in monolithic
constructions are briefly covered. Comparing the values of the greatest compressive
stresses for the two methods of tensioning the reinforcement with eccentricity, it is
possible to see a decrease in the limiting stress in concrete during crimping. That is,
when compressive forces are transferred to concrete, the stress can be reduced by 12%,
which naturally reduces creep strains and stress losses associated with them.
