Abstract

In modern conditions of development of the young sovereign state is
particularly important search for national identity in architecture. New Kazakh
architecture should absorb the advanced experience of centuries, having distinct features
cultural continuity, to find with the balance between the two extremes: the blind
imitation of tradition and full of denial. The article deals with modern methods of use of
the national Kazakh ornament in architecture and way of development, and their
application in this area.
